Ann Timmons has over 20 years' experience as a professional stage and screen actor and singer, voice-over talent, and corporate spokesperson.

Ann has been an assistant professor in the Theatre and Speech Communciations Departments at the City University of New York, the University
of the District of Columbia, and American University.
She continues to lead acting workshops for students of all ages, from first graders through adults.
Additionally, Ann is a valued speech coach to several private clients in the Washington, D.C. area.
This varied background gives Ann a unique, yet practical, understanding of all facets of speaking and speech-making.
Her unique approach to speaker training, communications conditioning,
gives clients the tools they need to discover and maintain their leadership presence.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wellesley College, Ann received her Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of Illinois.
She has studied with international voice and speech experts from the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Juilliard School, The Metropolitan Opera
and New York City Opera.
In addition to her work as a professional performer, Ann is a writer and director. She has won grants and commissions for her original plays,
including Beyond Shadowlands, The Home/Place Play, and most recently, The Jamestown Adventure Express,
commissioned for America's 400th Anniversary Celebration. Her expertise as a director and playwright enables her to guide
clients successfully through development of speech content and textual analysis.
Ann is a member of Actors' Equity Association, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, Screen Actors Guild,
and the Voice and Speech Trainers Association.
