It was a busy summer for me. But I squeezed in some fun! Along with the rest of the world, I saw Barbie this summer. And I took away a powerful lesson. Read about it in my latest blog post, here.

A new play reading of an old favorite

My play Becoming Calvin is having a community reading on October 22 at First Presbyterian Church in the City of New York. I am looking forward to hearing this work again! More info here.

The play, originally commissioned in 2009 to celebrate the 500th birthday of John Calvin, celebrates the Frenchman who was a defining figure of the Protestant Reformation. It explores the lives of characters living at the crossroads of history, caught up in the complex relationships between royalty and Rome, leaders of the Church, and leaders of state. It’s a story of intrigue and making your way in a changing world, and is available on Amazon.
