The inspiration for my latest blog was experiencing an engaging speaker who failed to connect. What’s that about? Read and find out.

My comedy A Very Present Presence is coming to a screen near you!

Rehearsals for this Pipeline Playwrights' production started last week. We're creating a new kind of theatre on Zoom, and I'm excited to share it with you. Video-on-demand viewing starts at 7 pm (EST) May 22nd and runs till 7 pm (EST) on June 5th.

This show has everything: ghosts; time-travel, young love, craven lobbyists, protesting feminists, and tricky family relationships. It’s fun and thought-provoking, and I hope you'll join me for this adventure!

Spring has sprung!

I took a lovely walk today. Some things I saw reminded me of recent client conversations, and insights I shared about business communications. You can read what thoughts sprung to mind this fine spring day here.

Pipeline Playwrights, the collective of producing playwrights I co-founded in 2016, is now officially a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation! To celebrate, we've launched a MATCHING MARCH campaign. All donations this month up to $3,500 will be matched by a generous donor.

And we're excited that this spring we'll be bringing more plays, more events, more women playwrights, and more theater to a Zoom screen near you!!! Check out our website to find out what's coming down the pipeline.

Avoid that messy clean-up

This month’s blog was inspired by the incomparable Moira Rose from Schitt’s Creek who always manages to sidestep potential messy situations. She doesn’t live in the real world. We do.

I am hard at work revising my full-length play A Very Present Presence. You may have seen a reading of it at MetroStage in Alexandria, Virginia, in Spring, 2017. It's the one with the ghost!

A Very Present Presence will have its Zoom premiere sometime in mid-May ("opening night" date TBD). Pipeline Playwrights is producing it as part of Our Time Our Stories, a series of ten plays that will be produced over four years. The first five installments will be Zoom Theatre: Our Time Our Stories at Home. Find more information here.
